The Knowledge Of Climbing Jacob's Ladder...

10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. 11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: “I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” (Genesis 28:10-17)

The 12 Levels Of Climbing Jacob's Ladder...
"In one way or the other we are all climbing Jacob's Ladder of 12 levels, take an honest look to find out where you are, then take the steps needed to trust the Lord to be where you should be in Christ."
_________________________________________

1.)Are you A... Child infant to 11 years of age?
Children that are under 12... Live and die under the grace of God and are not accountable for there ways.

2.) Are you A... 12 years old or older in a right state of mind (accountable)?
Those that are at the age of 12 and up, are at an age that God has chosen to make all those accountable for the sins of wrong choices made as well as the blessings for making right choices (there is actually no scriptures that says we are held accountable at this age, but Jesus did not show how wise he was until the age of twelve, according to the bible... Now, I must make this clear, we are not saved because of our good deeds nor are we heading to a devils hell because of our bad deeds. It is only because of the (grace of God) life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are we saved or condemned because of unbelief (John 3:16 to 21)... But walking Christ like, reveals Christ in you as Lord of your life or not!

3.)Are you... One that does not know of God?
Not knowing God, does not stop the hand of God's judgment. If we believe that God does exist or not, we all have an appointment to see God on that great judgment day (Romans 2:1 to Romans 3:31).

4.)Are you... One that has heard the gospel, but does not believe?
Just because we read the bible does not make us saved, even if we can quote the whole bible from Genesis to Revelations (even the devil knows the bible). Only believing that Jesus Christ is Lord; the only begotten son of God, came and died for our sins, and has risen so that God may forgive all those that come to God in Jesus name... Then be baptized, SAVES US, AS WE REVEAL OUR FAITH WITH WORKS by living by the word of God in Christ (James 1:19 to 26) .

5.)Are you... Those that heard the gospel, but is not sure?
Some study the bible but is not sure, so they just don't live by the word of God because it is not based on how they believe... The word of God is a spiritual Holy Book and it is only written to those that choose to walk by faith and not by sight! The word of God is truly written to everyone but it is not for everyone, only to those that believe in and on the Farther and Son of God (James 1:2 to 18).

6.)Are you one that... Believes the gospel but has not been baptized?
Believing, Confessing, and Changing is not the final steps for proclaiming Christ as Lord. The finished work in receiving Christ as Lord is being baptized. This may be a hard saying for some but it is the truth, according to the word of God... Don't just take my word for it, search the scripture(s) for yourself read in this order - Matthew 3:13-17; 1 Peter 3:18-22; Acts 8:26-40; Acts 2:14-41.

7.)Are you A... Baptized believer in Christ but does not share the gospel (good news of Jesus)?
Some people believe that they have to be a pastor or preacher to tell someone about Jesus or to talk to someone about salvation. But that's not so, if you have heard the Gospel and have accepted the Lord as your personal Lord and savior, there should be a lot that you have to share with someone for them to hear the gospel through you and hear about salvation; and as a child of God just guiding someone to your Church to hear the word of God so that they may be baptized and be saved is a part of being used in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:1 to 31).

8.)Are you A... Believer that knows the bible but does not live by the word of God?
There are so many people that are seeking to know God's will but they are not willing to give up the old way of living because everyone else is doing it or they just enjoy living the ways of the world and some of them know that... "Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God." (Romans 8:8 (read - Romans 8:1-17)).

9.)Are you A... Believer that ministers the word of God but does not live by it?
There is a verse in the bible that says, "not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, "Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?" Then I will tell them plainly, "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" (Matthew 7:15-23) Sharing the word is truly a blessing, and it is good to be used by God in Jesus name to save others... But make sure you believe enough to walk Christ-like to be saved yourself.

10.) Are you A... Believer that does study the word for your calling in the body of Christ?
Paul said to Timothy, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, A workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2nd. Timothy 2:15) Again sharing the word is a blessing but it all must be in God's will... Being led by his Holy Spirit in Jesus name, then at the appointed time God will place you where he wants you to be.

11.)Are you A... Believer that ministers the word of God?
Jesus once gave, "The Parable of the Sower" and in the closing of that parable he said, "Still other seeds fell on good soil, where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear." (Matthew 13:8-9) Later on his disciples asked him about the parable... well, the ending part that I am talking about, Jesus revealed the message of what happens when we believe enough to not give up and then share what we know to others..., "But the one who received the seeds that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." (Matthew 13:23)

12.)Or are you A... Saint (Christian) that pleases God by striving by the word of God as he/she learns?
The word of God says, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. (Psalm 116:15) Out of all of the things that's needed to be understood, is the last part of climbing Jacob's Ladder... God wants us to be born under his grace, BUT MOST OF ALL God wants us to pass onto the other side under his grace. It is truly important to walk saved, but what is precious in the eyes of the Lord is all believers fighting a good fight of faith even until the end.

Romans 1:18-32

Amplified Bible (AMP)
18For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative.
19For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.
20For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],
21Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and [a]godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.
22Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves].
23And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin],
25Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it).
26For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one,
27And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own [b]bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.
28And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome,
29Until they were filled (permeated and saturated) with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and covetous greed, and malice. [They were] full of envy and jealousy, murder, strife, deceit and treachery, ill will and cruel ways. [They were] secret backbiters and gossipers,
30Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance, [and] boasting; inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents.
31[They were] without understanding, conscienceless and faithless, heartless and loveless [and] merciless.
32Though they are fully aware of God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.

Galatians 5:16-24

Amplified Bible (AMP)
16But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
17For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.
18But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.
19Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency,
20Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies),
21Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge].
24And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.
